Find and switch workspaces

Choose the right workspace and understand why your role and visible work can change.

A workspace is a separate home for a team's projects, assets, and review activity. You can belong to more than one workspace with the same sign-in email. Your role and access are set separately in each one.

For example, you might be on the creative team in Studio and a reviewer in Client campaign. In Studio you can manage the workspace's creative library. In Client campaign you see only work shared with you.

Check your current workspace

Look for the workspace name at the top of the sidebar. Its menu identifies the workspace and your role. On smaller screens, look for the workspace selector in the app navigation.

Before uploading work, inviting someone, or investigating a missing asset, check that this is the workspace you intended to use.

Switch to another workspace

  1. Select the current workspace name.
  2. Choose another workspace from the list. The current one has a checkmark.
  3. Brightproof opens the selected workspace's Dashboard.

You can manage the creative library in this sample workspace.

Try switching between two sample workspaces. The role changes with the workspace; your real workspace stays unchanged.

Switching does not move or copy any projects or assets. Work stays in the workspace where it belongs. Finish any unsaved input before navigating away.

View all your workspaces

When you belong to more than one workspace, the selector includes View all workspaces. Select it to open Choose a workspace, then select the workspace you want to enter.

The chooser shows the email you signed in with, your available workspaces, and your role in each active workspace. Last opened identifies your most recently opened active workspace when available.

If a workspace is missing

Check the signed-in email first. An invitation sent to a different address does not automatically give this account access.

If the email is correct, ask an admin to confirm your membership in the workspace you need. Signing in successfully does not grant access to every workspace. If you see No workspace yet, ask your organisation's admin to add you or check your email for an invitation already sent.

A workspace marked Archived is not ordinary active work. Ask the workspace admin about its availability before trying to resume work there.

Understand your role

  • Admin: Manages members and the creative library in that workspace.
  • Creative team: Manages projects and assets throughout that workspace.
  • Reviewer: Sees and reviews only work shared with them in that workspace.

Changing workspaces can change your available controls because your role can differ. See Manage workspace members and roles for the permissions reference.

If the workspace is correct but an asset is missing, follow Troubleshoot sign-in and missing access.
